Digsby IM Client

EDIT: Just found out that there isn't an OSX or Linux version, but they are in the works.

Have any of you heard of the Digsby instant messaging client? I tell you this, if you think Pidgin is good, Digsby is brilliant! And if you don't know what pidgin is, I suggest you uninstall windows messenger and search on google for 'multiprotocol IM client'.

Digsby's compatible with all the major IM networks plus some others (like pidgin), I won't list them but you can head over to their website at digsby.com. Btw digsby is compatible with OSX, Linux and Windows, so unless you're running FreeBSD, OS/2 or - list goes on - no complaints there. My only complaint is that I don't think it's open source, but it is one brilliant IM client even so.

Btw I am in no way affiliated with their company, I'm not advertising for them I'm just saying what a brilliant IM client it is. Go download it now!

It's also compatible with Twitter and a few other things like that (twitter is useless without a 2-click (or better: keyboard based) ondemand desktop tweeting app).
